The NASCAR driver -- en route to a Godaddy holiday party -- had a brief run in with American Airlines. Nothing, not even her superstar status, could save her from experiencing her very own “Greg Focker” episode.

Having been called out by someone with 1.3 million followers, American Airlines had no choice but to respond.

Eventually, the airline was forced to apologize for doing its job.

Fortunately for Patrick, her bag wasn’t left stranded. She would eventually reach her destination with zero qualms.

The lesson, however, was already learned. No one -- not even NASCAR’s most notable female figure -- is exempt from the airlines’ painstakingly annoying guidelines.
