Jameis Winston Crab Legs Revisited: QB Back At Publix Grocery Store To Buy Seafood [VIDEO]

Apparently, Jameis Winston was in the mood to eat crab legs again. At least this time, he paid for them.

Winston was photographed with a man inside a Publix grocery store, where the Bucs quarterback apparently was there to buy crab legs, according to Complex.com, based on a tweet from former NFL writer Anwar Richardson.

Facebook Post Hints Jameis Winston Has Taken Free Food On Multiple Occasions

"Earlier today, a man named Rory Lawrence, who lists his location on Facebook as Tampa, posted a picture of himself and Winston, who he ran into at a local Publix, with Winston headed to purchase....wait for it...some crab legs," Complex.com reported. "Some things are just too good to be true."

Winston seems to have moved on from the citation he received when he was at Florida State in April 2014 for shoplifting $32 worth crab legs and crawfish from a Publix.

After the incident, Winston issued an apology through Florida State expressing remorse for his actions.

"I went to the supermarket with the intent to purchase dinner but made a terrible mistake for which I'm taking full responsibility," Winston said, according to ESPN. "In a moment of youthful ignorance, I walked out of the store without paying for one of my items."

He later changed his story, saying that he was given the crab legs, ESPN reported.

"Well, a week before, it was my buddy's birthday and we had got a cake. And we met a dude that worked inside Publix and he said, 'Hey, anytime you come in here, I got you.' So that day we just walked out and he hooked us up with that," Winston said. "And when I came in to get crab legs, I did the same thing and he just gave them to me and I walked out. And someone from inside the store had told the security that I didn't pay for them. And that's how the whole thing started."

Florida State suspended Winston for five days ... from the baseball team. He did not miss any time from football.

Winston has not allowed his mistake to bother him. After the Bucs drafted him with the first overall pick of the 2015 NFL draft, the quarterback posted a photo with him and a plate of crab legs on his Instagram account. He later deleted the post.
