Eugenie Bouchard Update: Even Wearing Minions Pajamas Doesn't Elicit Smile From Ailing Star [VIDEO]

A short time ago, Eugenie Bouchard seemed to bouncing back from the concussion that cut short her U.S. Open journey and 2015 tennis season.

Now, she seems to be languishing, but whether the concussion has been part of the cause remains unclear.

Tweet Reveals Possible Setback In Eugenie Bouchard's Recovery Process

After posting of a setback in her preparation on Twitter last week, Bouchard turned to social media again to display a melancholy mood, with the photo posted on 10sballs.com.

She posted a photo of herself decked out in Minions pajamas and Minions cap with a Minion holding a candy cane in front of her on her Instagram account.

The photo contains the caption, "One of those days," but she isn't smiling and doesn't show that she is just in a silly mood.

Bouchard is getting ready for the 2016 season, which she'll begin next month at the Hopman Cup in Australia, which is a tuneup for the Australian Open, which is the first Grand Slam of 2016 -- although for some tennis players, such as Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova, it is the last tournament they play before they take extended breaks.

Bouchard posted an Instagram video of herself tied to a bungee cord as she runs on the court, hitting shots back. But she has said little else about her concussion or her recovery from it.

That could be due to Bouchard's lawsuit against the USTA and the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center over the concussion she suffered when she hit the back of her head on the floor of an alleged darkened physiotherapy room. The suit, according to her lawyer, could be worth millions of dollars.

Bouchard is trying to bounce back from a horrific 2015 in which her ranking dropped from a high of No. 5 in 2014 to No. 49 currently.
