Katherine Webb, AJ McCarron Relationship Update: Model The Only Optimistic Bengals Fan After Andy Dalton's Injury [VIDEO]

Andy Dalton's injury is terrible news for every Bengals fan -- except the one married to the backup quarterback.

Cleveland's tremendous season reached the ultimate low on Sunday when Dalton left the Bengals' game against the Steelers with a thumb injury. Backup quarterback AJ McCarron entered the contest and finished with two touchdowns and two interceptions, as Cincinnati fell to Pittsburgh, 33-20.

The Bengals (10-3) currently hold first place in the AFC North, with the Steelers (8-5) two games back and holding onto a wild-card spot. That means the pressure is on McCarron to help Cincinnati stay atop the division with the club on pace for a first-round bye via entering Week 15 as the No. 2 seed.

Most fans are bummed about Dalton, who hasn't ruled out a Week 17 return, being injured. However, Katherine-Webb McCarron, the wife of the backup quarterback, believes he can help them win a Super Bowl despite last Sunday being his first taste of NFL action.

"[AJ] could take us to the Super Bowl," the former Miss Alabama told ESPN. "I thought about that [Sunday] for the first time and it just kind of gave me chills. And at the same time, I have Andy in the back of my mind. Andy has taken us through the whole season and in my mind, I'm like, 'I would love for AJ just to be able to do it for him and for the team.'"

It's great to have dreams, but let the Bengals make the playoffs first.

It was revealed that Dalton won't need surgery on his thumb and his return to action will depend on how the injury heals. Assuming McCarron plays at least the next two weeks, he must topple the 49ers (4-9) at home and the Broncos (10-3) in Denver before giving way to Dalton in a best-case scenario.

McCarron led Alabama to two national championships in his college career, and his wife believes he has a few more big wins left in him.

"What I've seen him go through in college and his confidence back then and how he responded then," Webb-McCarron said. "I have no doubt in my mind that he will be able to do the same thing here."
