Derek Jeter was once the Yankees captain, and is one of the greatest players to every wear the famed pinstripes. But he’s retired now, and he may not be the best athlete in his relationship.
Jeter’s glory days are well-documented, but now he’s shilling underwear and managing websites. Meanwhile his fiancée, swimsuit model and DirecTV genie Hannah Davis, is still very involved in athletics. In fact, she’s teaching people how to play tennis, while Jeets is poring over a computer.

She looks like she’s ready to give Serena Williams a run! Okay maybe not, but Davis is clearly more than just a pretty face. She has some skills, and a real tennis background. Davis was once a nationally ranked junior tennis player before she shifted gears in her career.
That’s much more positive than the things being said about her man. Jeter is in an increasingly ugly spat with underwear company Frigo. First, there were rumors leaked that he ditched them when they linked up with rapper 50 Cent, claiming Jeter thought they were going in a direction that was too “urban.” Jeter denied that, claiming he was the one who brought the two sides together in the first place.

Now, there are rumors swirling that Jeter didn’t want the underwear marketed to the gay community. “[Jeter] demanded that [Frigo] not market to the gay community and states that he did not want the Frigo brand to be ‘too gay,’ ” according to TMZ.
