Deion Sanders Chokeslam On School Official? Police Invesitgating 'Prime Time' For Assault [VIDEO]

Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders is under police investigation after an employee at a Dallas Charter School claimed he "chokeslammed" him during a dispute over student-athletes.

According to the Dallas Morning News, Kevin Jefferson told police "he walked back to the back of the classroom to where I was sitting... he just kind of kept talking to me and at me and then he just grabbed me by the throat and kind of threw me to the ground. Some people had to get him off of me."

Jefferson later told police Sanders became angry after the two of them got into a verbal dispute over Sanders' concerns that some of the students at the school were struggling academically.

"I'm going to pursue my options with my attorney," Jefferson told The News. "I just think it's unacceptable in a professional environment particularly at a school for that kind of behavior to go on."

Sanders later tweeted "it's a lot of ignorance & lies circulating right now. Please know I stand for kids, teachers & parents who trusted me with their child. The person claiming assault is a fake administrator who does absolutely nothing to help the school kids or teachers reach our goals. I won't sit and witness my Prime Prep kids receive 2nds when they deserve the BEST.

Sanders is one of the school's football coaches, while Jefferson is the school's chief financial officer.
