Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen Relationship Update: QB's Diet Proves He's More Of A Diva Than His Model Wife [VIDEO]

Tom Brady's on-field résumé speaks for itself, but off the gridiron when it comes to food, he may be more careful about what goes into his body than his model wife.

The Patriots quarterback, like most athletes, is careful about what he eats, but he's also very particular. Allen Campbell, who is the personal chef for the four-time Super Bowl champion, his model wife, Gisele Bundchen, and their kids, recently revealed the specifics that go into feeding the Brady clan.

Famous NFL Playoffs WAGs

"So, 80 percent of what they eat is vegetables. [I buy] the freshest vegetables," Campbell told Boston.com. "If it's not organic, I don't use it. And whole grains: brown rice, quinoa, millet, beans. The other 20 percent is lean meats: grass-fed organic steak, duck every now and then, and chicken. As for fish, I mostly cook wild salmon.

"It's very different than a traditional American diet. But if you just eat sugar and carbs -- which a lot of people do -- your body is so acidic, and that causes disease. Tom recently outed Frosted Flakes and Coca-Cola on [Boston radio affiliate] WEEI. I love that he did that. Sugar is the death of people."

Not only do Brady and his family receive the freshest vegetables, but the chef revealed just how picky the quarterback is about what he eats.

"[Tom] doesn't eat nightshades, because they're not anti-inflammatory," he said. "So no tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, or eggplants. Tomatoes trickle in every now and then, but just maybe once a month. I'm very cautious about tomatoes. They cause inflammation."

Also on the "no" list: coffee, caffeine, fungus and dairy. The 11-time Pro Bowler also isn't particularly fond of fruit.

"The kids eat fruit. Tom, not so much," Campbell said. "He will eat bananas in a smoothie. But otherwise, he prefers not to eat fruits."

Given his line of work, it's hard to argue Brady's lifestyle. He's one of the most highly-decorated athletes in the NFL and at age 38, he's still one of the elite players at his position.

Still, in a home that houses a model and a quarterback, it's hard to tell which one is the bigger diva when it comes to their bodies.
