Deion Sanders Fired From Prep Academy After 'Chokeslam' On Co-Worker [VIDEO]

A Texas prep school has cut ties with NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders after he admitted he got into a physical altercation with another senior level executive at the school about the classwork of student athletes, according to TMZ.

Hailed as an "ambassador and employee," Prime Prep Academy officials announced they severed relations with Sanders after announcing "they can no longer have a professional relationship with him" following allegations he chokeslammed PPA chief financial officer Kevin Jefferson.

Even in announcing an end to their relationship with Sanders, school officials nonetheless found reason to praise him.

"Deion's positive contribution is appreciated and regarded as a laudable example," school officials said in a statement. "The school family wishes Mr. Sanders much success in his future endeavors."

After news of the skirmish with Jefferson became public, Sanders later tweeted "it's a lot of ignorance & lies circulating right now. Please know I stand for kids, teachers & parents who trusted me with their child. The person claiming assault is a fake administrator who does absolutely nothing to help the school kids or teachers reach our goals. I won't sit and witness my Prime Prep kids receive 2nds when they deserve the BEST.

Sanders was one of the school's football coaches, while Jefferson is the school's chief financial officer.
