The cornerback and the Jets were on the cusp of getting into the playoffs for the first time since 2010-11 when their season came to an unceremonious end. Gang Green fell to the Bills, 22-17, on Sunday, while the Steelers defeated the Browns, ending New York's chance of a postseason berth.

One thing that's very well-known about Cromartie is the fact that he has a lot of children (even if he can't always remember them all). It's a good thing he plays in the NFL, because he has a dozen mouths to feed.

The cornerback has 12 children, four of which he conceived with his current wife, Terricka Cason, and eight others that he had with seven other women, according to Heavy.com. While Cromartie supports his children, he doesn't want their mothers going on a spending spree for anything other than what the kids need.
Cromartie took to Instagram to share that he wants to sign up for a "child support card," which controls what his baby mamas can and can't buy with his child support payments.
That card, like the Jets playoff aspirations, is merely a fantasy.
