In 1985, Vince McMahon used Hulk Hogan's popularity to launch an event that changed the landscape of wrestling history. Now, 32 years later, "The Hulkster" won't be a part of WrestleMania.

Hogan has been erased from WWE lore despite being arguably the biggest household name to ever grace a WWE ring. Hogan was secretly recorded in 2006 using racial slurs toward black people and when they leaked in July, the WWE severed all ties with him.
While what the wrestling legend said was wrong and the WWE was right to take swift action, it would be unfortunate for the company to ban him forever.

Black athletes have jumped to the support of Hogan, with Dennis Rodman saying the WWE Hall of Famer is "most certainly not a racist," and former WWE Superstar Kamala also defended "The Hulkster".
Nevertheless, the WWE has kept its ban of Hogan going strong and hasn't made mention of him since the scandal broke. Hogan was asked by several fans on Twitter if he'd be a part of WrestleMania, but he told them he was not in the plans for the biggest event of 2016.

Though what Hogan did was wrong, the WWE has punished him long enough and should slowly bring him back into the public eye. The six-time WWE Champion was the marquee name for the first nine WrestleManias, and he should continue to be a part of the spectacle.
At age 62, the original nWo member has no reason to actively compete, but he should at least make an appearance in some manner at the show he helped build into a mega event.
Hogan made some terrible comments, but if ever he were to reconcile with the WWE, WrestleMania would be the perfect place for that to happen.
