LeBron James maintains a different personality if you compare him with the likes of a straight-forward and brash talking individual like Conor McGregor.
But when it comes to outlook, there could be some similarities and James borrowed a certain quote from the Irishman from a recent short documentary that James would later on post on his official Instagram account.

"There's no talent here, this is hard work," says McGregor. "This is an obsession. Talent does not exist, we are all equals as human beings. You could be anyone if you put in the time. You will reach the top, and that's that. I am not talented, I am obsessed."
James went on to place the following caption: “I’m obsessed!! Straight up #StriveForGreatness #AndThatsWhyImNeverSatisfied”.
As USA Today points out, McGregor has been able to walk the talk despite being only 5-foot-9. He is armed with a special skill that makes him one of the elite fighters in the UFC circle.

On the other end, James has shown the world what he can do on the basketball court. Despite his large frame, James is able to run the court and showcase the usual stuff a point guard can do.
But the bottom line of it all, both worked hard to get where they are right now. They do have talent but perfecting it still stems from plenty of sacrifice and years of hard work.
