Nick Kyrgios News: Malcontent Tennis Star Blames Chair Umpire For Latest Failure [VIDEO]

Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios, perhaps frustrated at losing in the early rounds in front of his countrymen at the Australian Open, went on one of his patented rants during his loss to Tomas Berdych on Friday.

There was music playing throughout their match, and Kyrgios, known for his volatility, chose to explode on the chair umpire for allowing the match to take on a “circus” atmosphere, rather than cop to his own play being subpar.

Stan Wawrinka Not Happy That ATP Didn't Suspend Kyrgios

“Mate, it's a circus! So there's music allowed to be played? Did you hear something? So why did you not tell them to turn it off? Because you have a mic right there!” Kyrgios said.

"You really know how to control a match, buddy. There's guys throwing balls back into the crowd. And you have music playing while we're playing. Good control. It's a f---ing joke."

Wawrinka Not Commenting On His Relationship With Kyrgios

The referee told Kyrgios he couldn’t hear any music, but Berdych substantiated Kyrgios’ angry claims.

"Well, honestly, difficult. I mean, it was probably on my side," Berdych said. "I don't know. But I was really just trying to stay focused, trying to be close for myself, and that's it. I've been through many very loud matches, so I'm probably able to block these things, just leave the noise on the side.”

This is far from Kyrgios’ first outburst. On Wednesday he was chewing out his team because he wore the wrong shorts during his match, which he said affected his play. He has had numerous other outbursts as well, and even got into a nasty feud with Stan Wawrinka over comments made about his girlfriend.
