Ronda Rousey News: Rowdy ‘Sincerely’ Congratulates Holly Holm [VIDEO]

Days ago, Many were talking about Ronda Rousey and her much publicized hosting gig for "Saturday Night Live."

Ronda Rousey Takes Subtle Jab At WWE

It was the first time that Rousey actually spoke to her fans since losing at UFC 193, but it was her congratulatory remarks to Holly Holm that seemingly caught everyone by surprise.

"This is the first time I'm talking to my fans since I lost to Holly Holm in November, which, by the way, was a fight Holly deserved to win. And I just wanted to take a minute to sincerely congratulate her," Rousey said.

In the eyes of many, such is a rarity. Not only because it was the first time she may have addressed the loss but because Rousey had always been on the winning end.

And of course, not too many were convinced about the sincerity behind Rousey’s piece. Some say Rousey’s gesture was a class act and questioned why it took her four months to finally live with the fact that she lost to Holm fair and square.

Holm didn’t actually mind if Rousey would acknowledge her triumph or not, something she mentioned on Fox Sports last month.

"I think if somebody doesn't want to say it or it's obviously affected her in a different way. She hasn't really reacted this way to a fight before and so I know it's just a lot of emotion," Holm said. "It's really nothing on me. I don't want to lose any sleep over it, lose any energy over it."
