Aaron Rodgers, Olivia Munn Engagement Rumors: Actress Once Again Denies Pending Nuptials In Very Funny, Very Public Way [VIDEO]

Olivia Munn is getting better at dodging engagement rumors than her boyfriend Aaron Rodgers was at avoiding being sacked this season.

The "X-Men: Apocalypse" star was once again fending off rumors of being engaged to the Packers quarterback, but at least she continues to find some humor in it.

Olivia Munn Forgives 'Troll' Fans, Not Media

There has been some growing speculation that Rodgers, who was sacked 46 times this season behind a banged up offensive line, proposed to Munn, but as it turns out, a magazine leaked false information.

The actress is still in the unenviable position of shooting down those rumors.

Aaron Rodgers Should Cheat On His Diet More, Says Olivia Munn

"We're not engaged," Munn said on 'The Ellen DeGeneres' show Wednesday. "Not engaged."

Munn also humorously described how her family believed the engagement at first before she was able to convince them that not everything they read is true. The actress has been dating Rodgers since May 2014, so there have been a lot of people wondering when he'll drop down on one knee, including Munn's mother, who loves the quarterback.

"My mom believes everything she reads online. Everything she reads online," Munn said. "So no she didn't believe it, or she did believe it, but now I was able to correct her and she knows for sure that it's not ... as soon as I say no it's not true she believes it."

The former "Newsroom" star said the false story broke out at one publication and began to snowball until multiple places picked it up. Even the actress's own sister didn't know what to believe.

"My sister said, 'This is so stupid. Why would anybody think this? You're not engaged it's so stupid.' And then the next text after that was, 'But seriously are you engaged because like I'm seeing it everywhere?'"

At least for now, Munn isn't engaged, but if and when Rodgers does pop the question, she'll have to do a lot of convincing to get her family to believe it after this latest fiasco.
