Russell Wilson, Ciara News: Seahawks QB Can't Think Of Anything Nice To Say About Girlfriend [VIDEO]

It would be forgivable if the Seahawks were preparing for the Super Bowl. Or any other game. Or even in training camp. Or maybe even OTAs. But they're not.

In paying tribute to his sexy girlfriend Ciara for "WCW" -- Women Crush Wednesday -- Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson posted photos with some seeming innocuously sweet comments about the pop singer.

That were blatant plagiarism, according to Deadspin.

"What a sweet little note!" Deadspin exclaimed. "Now I am convinced that Russell Wilson not some sort of uncanny-valley A.I. experiment, and is an actual human being with human thoughts and feelings."

But the site's sentiment changed when it was exposed that Wilson's words weren't his own. Billboard editor Natalie Weiner Googled them and discovered a coincidence, according to complex.com.

OK, so maybe he was in a hurry to be somewhere but wanted to let Ciara know he was thinking about her.

Then again, it appears, he wasn't that much in a hurry because he double-downed on his plagiarism on his Instagram account.

The sentiment appeared on the same website he "copied" his other feelings, descriptivewriting.wordpress.com.

To make matters worse, Wilson didn't even bother to scroll down to see what else was on the page as both sentiments appear on the top of the page. Wilson could've even taken snippets from different ideas to form his own "original" sentiments, but he didn't even bother to do that.

Of course, Ciara can respond on #MCM Man Crush Monday with the first thing she sees about describing an attractive man on the same site.

"1. He had a shiny goatee."

"2. He had a smooth, spade shaped beard."

To be fair, Wilson did take the time to edit out the numbers (1., 2.) in his posts.
