It’s that time of year again! Bad Lip Reading has returned, and once again they do not disappoint with their absolutely perfect interpretations of NFL players conversing on the field. Check it out below, then stick around for a ranking of the five funniest moments from this video.
5. J.J. Watt (58 seconds)
Watt: Rain’s gonna come out of that thing.
Player: You mean that cloud?
Watt: Yeah whatever. It’s a rain thing.

This is perfect, because for all of the accolades and acclaim that Watt has received – deservedly – he does come off at times as the Webster dictionary definition of a doofy jock. Which, of course, comes across in Bad Lip Reading when he’s babbling about “rain things.”
4. Teddy Bridgewater (1:47)
Bridgewater: Right now, I’ma try to make a comment. Umm, I said, umm, mmm, I couldn’t do it.

Just classic. Bridgewater is easily one of the most overlooked quarterbacks in the NFL, and it’s priceless how that translated to him tapping people’s shoulder pads and getting completely ignored. Poor Teddy. Maybe when Adrian Peterson’s gone they’ll appreciate you.
3. Cam Newton (7 seconds)
Newton: I mean, there’s a snake over there. It’s a snake over there. And I don’t know if it bit a guy, but I don’t want to be that close to it.
You just knew Cam Newton would wind up here at least once. Cam’s always smiling, mouthing off, or generally getting attention. This one is particularly funny not just because the lip reading looks dead accurate, but it would be too much if “Superman” was scared of a snake.
2. Bengals QBs Keith Wenning & A.J. McCarron (43 seconds)
McCarron: You gotta lick it.
Wenning: I can’t. It’s nasty. And they’d see us.
Probably the naughtiest entry in this edition of Bad Lip Reading. Maybe A.J. McCarron and Keith Wenning aren’t exactly household names, but the sheepish look Wenning gets when he adds in “they’d see us” at the end is too good. He starts off like a goodie-two-shoes, and then transitions to his real concerns. Excellent work.
1. Drew Brees (3:17)
Brees: All of you are going to be there at my party. It’s gonna be an animal theme again, okay? So we’ll have fish, we’ll have a tarantula, and we’re trying to get a cougar to come again if we can! But the rat can’t do it. Oh, and one last thing. What does the pig say? Oink! Oink! HNGWAH! HNGWAH! MOO! The last one is not a pig sound.
You’re lying if you can’t envision Drew Brees saying this stuff. The random animals? Spot-on. The pig noises? Hilarious! And at the very end, throwing in a moo and a sarcastic comment is gold.
