The Giants wide receiver was spotted leaving an after party following the award show with singer and actress Zendaya, but her father quickly snuffed out any rumors of the two dating.

Though Beckham, 23, and Zendaya, 19, seemed close and he held the door to an SUV open for her like a gentleman, her dad told onlookers their eyes deceived them.
"What relationship?" he said to TMZ when asked if he approved. "There's no relationship, we're just friends. When you see my daughter out on a date without me, it's a relationship."

Zendaya's dad added a chuckle in the end and called it "like an audition, it's an interview," and he also said he was "absolutely" chaperoning the proceedings.
Judging by Beckham's gentlemanly behavior, he may have passed this audition with flying colors.
The flashy Giants receiver is seen out and about dancing with his male friends more than he's spotted with women these days, but it looks like he's trying to court the "Replay" singer, who is also suspiciously single.
"No, you've got to realize my schedule is kind of nuts," Zendaya told Seventeen Magazine when questioned about not having a boyfriend. "I don't have time to go out and get to know somebody. If I didn't know you from the last three or four years of my life, it's probably too late."
It looks like she's getting to know Beckham and there may be a new NFL power couple on the horizon.
