The Philadelphia Eagles don't appear to believe that Sam Bradford is a $20 million per year quarterback.
Meaning that a possibility exists that current Kansas City Chiefs backup Chase Daniel could be under center for the Eagles in the 2016 season opener.

Philadelphia is not expected to use the its franchise tag on Bradford, according to Philly.com. That tag would've cost the Eagles $20 million.
Bradford's statistics put him at the lower end of the spectrum among starting quarterbacks in 2015, despite his improvement over the second half of the season.

One report circulated that Bradford's agent asked the Eagles for a multiyear contract worth $25 million per year before the 2015 season started. So it figures that the quarterback will seek out the highest bidder when free agency starts on March 9.
Daniel has a relationship with new Eagles coach Doug Pederson, who was together with Daniel for the past three seasons in Kansas City.
Pederson has a good idea of what Daniel, whom ESPN says is a year older than the 28-year-old Bradford, can do while he only has game video of what Bradford did last year for the Eagles.
Bradford has built a relationship with his Eagles teammates, and making a change to another team would seem counterproductive for the QB. He could reteam with Chip Kelly in San Francisco or with the Rams in Los Angeles, but it doesn't appear that either of those teams would come close to offering what Bradford's agent feels he deserves.
But if Bradford elects to command premium prices from the Eagles, he may price himself out of Philadelphia in favor of a cheaper model in the Chiefs' Daniel. The team then would have more money to surround him with better complementary pieces.
