Brock Osweiler Wife: NFL Stays Mum On Potential Discipline After QB Pushes A Woman [POLL, VIDEO]

Brock Osweiler is still likely counting his money, but will the quarterback face discipline from the NFL for his recent incident? It's hard to tell.

The new Texans quarterback was involved in a bit of a scuffle outside of an Arizona pizza shop at 2 a.m. on Mar. 5. A group of people heckled Osweiler, who was out with his friends and wife, Erin, and one lady in the other party tried to get to the quarterback's wife.

Osweiler used minimum physical force to keep the woman at bay, while he ushered the rest of his crew into an awaiting car and everyone escaped without the situation escalating.

There has been a lot of debate as to whether Osweiler was too forceful with the woman who was going after his wife, or if it was justifiable for him to use physical force to keep her from getting to Erin.

There have also been a lot of questions surrounding Osweiler's fate when it comes to discipline from the NFL. The league obviously has no tolerance for off-field incidents and when it comes to its players putting their hands on women, the NFL obviously is a little harsher with punishments after the Ray Rice elevator debacle.

If the league is thinking of punishing Osweiler, they aren't sharing it yet.

"We don't have a comment," a representative for the league told TMZ.

As for the scene that Saturday morning at an Arizona pizza shop, the cops eventually were called, but no arrests were made, TMZ reports.

Just four days after the incident, Osweiler bolted the Broncos for the Texans, signing a four-year deal worth $72 million. The pact included $37 million in guaranteed money and a $12 million signing bonus.

It was expected Osweiler would be the successor to the retired Peyton Manning for the Super Bowl champion Broncos, but he took the money and ran.

Osweiler, 25, appeared in eight games last season (seven starts) and completed 61.8 percent of his passes for 1,967 yards with 10 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Did Brock Osweiler go too far when trying to protect his wife?
