Manny Pacquiao Next Fight and Record: Timothy Bradley Won’t Last Nine Rounds, Says Sparring Partner

Manny Pacquiao's sparring partner Ghislain Maduma believes Timothy Bradley has no chance to win against the Filipino boxing icon in their third fight on April 9 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Maduma said that Pacquiao, who has a 57-6-2 fight record, is getting better as the fight nears. And when the former pound-for-pound king reaches his peak form, the Congolese is convinced that Pacquiao will score a knockout victory and that Bradley will not last more than nine rounds in the bout.

"I still maintain my earlier prediction made when I arrived here, Manny will stop Bradley within six to nine rounds," Maduma told PhilBoxing, when asked to predict the outcome of the Pacquiao-Bradley 3 fight.

The 31-year-old added that conditioning is not an issue anymore with less than a month before big night. Maduma said that during a sparring session on Thursday, Pacquiao clearly showed that he is already nearing his best possible shape based on the way he chased and pressured his sparring partners.

"He was too quick and kept on chasing and chasing me. He's 37 year-old but he looks like 25 years-old," Maduma said of Pacquiao. "He never gets tired. I wonder where he gets his energy."

Pacquiao, who will be fighting for the first time since losing to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in May last year, is favored to win again in the upcoming rematch. The former eight-division world champion took a controversial split decision loss in June 2012 but defeated Bradley convincingly almost two years ago.

But while most fans and analysts are expecting another decisive win for Pacquiao, Bradley is determined to prove his doubters wrong. Unlike in their previous fights, the California native said that he has a detailed fight plan this time, and he will do his best to exploit Pacquiao's weaknesses.

"If I execute the game plan I will have no problem beating Manny Pacquiao just like I was able to beat Brandon Rios with the game plan," Bradley told Yahoo Sports.

Bradley, who has a 33-1-1 record with 13 knockout victories, scored a ninth-round knockout win against Rios in their World Boxing Organization welterweight title fight in November.
