Nike is set to make noise again this weekend as they are scheduled to release their 2016 Easter Collection, which includes new colorways of their popular signature models. Nike revealed that their 2016 Basketball Easter Collection will hit shelves on Friday.
The KD 8, the latest signature shoe of Oklahoma City Thunder superstar, will be released in Wolf Grey/Metallic Silver-White colorway, which is arguably the simplest edition to date. According to Sneaker Bar Detroit, this edition will be available for $180 per pair.
The KD 8 "Easter" features a grey-based upper part combined with white laces, lining and tongue, which has a grey KD logo on it. It was finished off with a white midsole and gum outsole. According to Kicks On Fire, this edition is a fine colorway but does not bear the Easter theme.
"Nike's holiday packs are unified in its focus but not in its colors. It's an okay colorway, I just don't see the Easter theme on it," Kicks On Fire noted.
Meanwhile, the Kobe 11, the final on-court signature shoe of Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant, will arrive at retailers in Dark Grey/Volt-Bright Mango-Court Purple colorway. According to Nike Blog, this edition will be available for $200 per pair.
The Kobe 11 "Easter" was tagged by Sneakernews as the most vibrant shoes in the 2016 Easter Collection. It sports a grey and volt upper part with grey Nike Swoosh. It was finished off with a translucent outsole and has a skull logo, which is not usually related to the Easter season.
On the other hand, LeBron 13 fans will also have something to be excited about as Nike is also set to release a new colorway of LeBron James' latest signature shoe, which will also be sold for $200 per pair.
The LeBron 13 "Easter" edition, which is officially listed as the White/Pure Platinum-Bright Mango-Arctic Glacier colorway of the signature model, features a white-based upper part with multi-color lining and Nike Swoosh. It was finished off with a speckled midsole and an icy blue translucent outsole.
The Kyrie 2, the second signature shoe of Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving, will also be released in White/Hyper Jade/Urban Lilac-Bright Mango colorway.
The Kyrie 2 "Easter" also sports a white-based upper part with multi-color hints. It was finished off with a white outsole with hyper hade Nike Swoosh and purple outsole. Fans can get the Kyrie 2 "Easter" for $125 per pair.
