John Cena and Nikki Bella haven't always seen eye-to-eye on marriage and kids.
As depicted on "Total Divas," the longest-reigning Divas Champion in WWE history can't wait to be "Mrs. Cena" and have babies with the "Cenation" leader. Cena, who was married and divorced in the past, has been skeptical about tying the knot and starting a family.
Cena recently opened up about having differences in opinion with his girlfriend.
"You can't change the other person, you have to kind of grow with them," Cena said in an appearance on 'The View.' "I think my views on marriage are just me being stubborn and not willing to grow. And day-by-day, I'm changing my perspective on that."
The 15-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion may have already changed his perspective completely, as Bella teased in the past the couple might already be engaged. If they are, it likely won't be revealed until next Tuesday night during the season finale of "Total Divas."
Cena also touched on not wanting to have kids and he explained his rationale.
"As far as children are concerned, the past three days of my life, I've woken up at 5:30 a.m. and I hit the pillow at about midnight," Cena said. "And that has nothing to do with recreational behavior, it is completely business. I am a very driven individual, I have the luxury of loving what I do, and if you have a child, I want to father my child. And I know that I travel 240 days a year."
Cena said he realizes his window in the WWE is very small and will come to an end, and that's when he'll have a child with Bella.
"I don't want to bring a child into this world and have another group of people responsible for raising that child," Cena said. "I want to be a father for that child and at this point in my life, there is no feasible way. You just have to have perspective."
Bella has never been shy about how badly she wants to marry Cena and start a family.
"Marriage and kids. I think I could sacrifice kids for him but I do want that ring one day, I want to be Mrs. Cena," Bella told the E! News in August. "Our life has become one and we make decisions together but I think I want that bling to walk around with."
