The NBA playoffs roll on as the Raptors play host to the Pacers in Game 2 of their best-of-seven playoff series live from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Monday night.
Indiana looks to take a commanding 2-0 series lead before the set shifts to their home court, while Toronto hopes to get in this series by evening it up at one game apiece.
Paul George put up a game-high 33 points and added six assists and four steals as the Pacers toppled the Raptors, 100-90, in Game 1 on Saturday to take a 1-0 series lead. George, who finished the game shooting 10 of 13 in the final two quarters, led Indiana with 23.1 points per game in the regular season.
"Paul's shot-making at the end of the game was spectacular," Raptors coach Frank Vogel told the team's official website, according to ESPN. "It's been a long road for him, in terms of actually getting back on the court, but before his injury, we were in the conference finals."
Cory Joseph had a team-best 18 points for the Raptors in the loss, while DeMar DeRozan (23.5 points per game) carried the team in the regular season. Game 1 was an off-night for Toronto's big guns, as DeRozan finished 5-of-19 shooting and Kyle Lowry (11 points) was 3 of 13.
The Raptors have lost seven straight postseason games, including a first-round sweep by the Wizards in last year's playoffs and Games 6 and 7 to the Nets the year before. Coming off of a club-best 56 wins and a third straight Atlantic Division crown, Toronto doesn't plan on going home early again.
"This is not last year," Lowry told ESPN. "We're very positive, we're very confident."
