CAPITALS vs FLYERS Watch FREE Live Stream Online & Listen: Game 4 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs Live Coverage From Philadelphia

The Capitals look to sweep a playoff series for the first time in franchise history, while the Flyers try to avoid elimination on home-ice when the puck drops on Game 4 live from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia as part of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Washington has jumped out to a commanding 3-0 series lead -- its first in history -- and took Game 3 on Monday by a lopsided 6-1 score. Philadelphia has been outscored 12-2 in this series thus far.

Heading into Game 4, the Flyers have opted to bench goaltender Steve Mason and replace him in the blue paint with Michal Neuvirth, who hasn't started since April 10, a 5-2 win against the Islanders in the regular season finale.

Mason allowed 12 goals through the first three games, but the benching isn't an indictment on him.

"It's not a negative to [Mason]," coach Dave Hakstol said via NHL.com. "It's about winning Game 4, pure and simple. I think it's a good time for a change for our team going into this game. And I believe [Neuvirth] is a guy that can go in for us in this situation and do a great job."

Neuvirth will go up against Braden Holtby, who has yielded just two goals while stopping 91 pucks thus far in the series. Holtby left practice Tuesday after a collision, but is good to go for Game 4.

"No ill effects so I'm ready for Game 4," Holtby said per NHL.com. "It's just one of those things that sometimes happens in practice. Just wanted to be cautious with it, not push a little too far because the main focus is Game 4 and that's what we're focused on."

Washington is 8-for-17 on the power play in this series, and scored five tallies on the man-advantage in Game 3. Alex Ovechkin and Jon Carlson each have three goals in the series, while Nicklas Backstrom has five assists.

Michael Raffl and Jakub Voracek have the only goals for Philadelphia thus far in the series.
