WWE Brand Split 2016 Rumors: Tag Teams That Should Be Split Up During Draft [VIDEO]

The WWE's brand extension offers an interesting dynamic for the roster as it gives the company a chance to freshen up some characters.

The tag team division has a plethora of teams that either don't necessarily work or are stale, and the WWE could use the upcoming draft as a way to split them up.

With "RAW" and "SmackDown" set to have unique rosters once the Blue Brand goes live on July 19, here are tag teams who could use a breakup.

1) The Dudley Boyz

Though the Bubba Ray Dudley and Reverend Devon split didn't work during the initial WWE Draft, years later, a breakup of the two could be an improvement. The Dudley Boyz have barely changed at all in the WWE and a major shakeup could help them continue to elevate other talents separately. Considering Bubba had a great run in TNA as Bully Ray, this time around a Dudleyville divide could work.

2) Golden Truth

The Goldust and R-Truth tandem just hasn't worked out. While the WWE may not have anything else for them, they might as well try to put them on separate brands since their current alliance isn't really doing much to advance the product.

3) Breezango

While we're at it, the whole feud between the tandem of Tyler Breeze and Fandango and the Golden Truth just hasn't been doing much for any of the four. The WWE might as well put a bullet in it and split both teams while trying to find something better to do for all parties.

4) The Lucha Dragons

Though they are high-flying and entertaining, the WWE has already started to have Kalisto and Sin Cara wrestle separately, so they might as well go through with a split. Kalisto just finished his random run with the United States Championship, so that could be a sign that the WWE plans to keep him in the tag division, but if tag teams all end up on one show, the company should consider putting one Lucha Dragon on "RAW" and the other on "SmackDown" to make the draft seem realistic.

5) The Social Outcasts

This group of guys can be entetraining on the microphone, but the foursome has mostly just been used as jobbers to the stars. The WWE could easily put two of the members on one show and two more on the other to keep them as individual tag teams. It would be farfetched to have all four members end up on the same show.
