The NBA Finals are set to shift to the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland for what could be the beginning of the end or potentially a momentum swing when Game 3 tips off on Wednesday.
Golden State is seeking a commanding 3-0 series lead after simply dominating on its home court, while Cleveland looks to bounce back from two straight blowouts to notch its first win of the series.
The Warriors defeated the Cavaliers, 104-89, in Game 1 last Thursday and absolutely decimated them, 110-77, in Game 2 on Sunday.
Draymond Green had a game-high 28 points, while two-time and reigning unanimous MVP Stephen Curry put up 18 points and Klay Thompson added 17 of his own. Curry also had a team-best nine rebounds in the win.
Golden State has had a knack of spreading the ball around and had four players finish in double-digit points in Game 2.
"We just want to win. It doesn't matter who scores the points or who gets the credit," Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Tuesday via ESPN. "We do feel like the strength of our team is our depth, and we're not overly reliant on one player, even the MVP."
LeBron James, who is 2-4 all-time in the NBA Finals, put up 19 points in the loss for the Cavaliers as Richard Jefferson had 12 and Kyrie Irving notched 10. Kevin Love (concussion) won't play in Game 3.
Cleveland will try to clean up its defense after getting dominated in Game 2.
"If we can score a little bit more, which I believe we will do in Game 3, that will help our defense out a lot, too," James said via ESPN. "When you miss versus those guys it gives them the ability to get out and run, which they're very good at."
