Dwight Howard, Kobe Bryant No Longer Speak; Lakers 'Just Another Game' [VIDEO]

Dwight Howard tells the L.A. Times he and Kobe Bryant no longer speak and he views his game against the Lakers this week as just "another game."

Howard and his Houston Rockets visit the Lakers on Thursday and while Bryant won't be in uniform he almost certainly will be in the house. Ditto for an overflowing Staples Center crowd that will make it their job to make Howard's every moment a walking nightmare.

Bryant immediately unfollowed Howard on Twitter after he announced he was bolting the world-renowned Lakers for the Rockets, but that is child's play to what Howard can expect on Thursday.

"Listen, it's over with man," Howard told The Times. "Like I'm already out of there. There's no reason to talk about what the Lakers could have did. I made my decision and I'm living with it. I'm happy with where I'm at. I'm in a great place. I think everybody should move forward. It's over with. This is my life, you know what I'm saying. If you don't like it, so what."

As bad as last year was for him, Howard readily admits he learned much from it, namely what not to do and how not to live.

"Not to allow whatever's being said to affect who I am as a person," he said of the lessons learned. "To continue to lead this team despite whatever's going on from the outside. I just allowed what people said to affect how I play. I can't do that, I'm better than that."
