With just two weeks until Battleground and a week before the Draft, the WWE presents "Monday Night RAW" live this week from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.
It should be a jam-packed edition of the flagship show, especially since Vince McMahon will return to television for the first time in months. It's unknown what purpose the CEO will serve, but with the brand extension on the horizon, it'll likely be to hype that upcoming major event.
The main storyline to keep an eye on this week is between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. The two are preparing for a Triple Threat Match at Battleground on July 24 with Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.
With Reigns still serving a 30-day suspension for his wellness violation, the two former Shield members have to continue to hype the event on their own.
Another major angle is the ongoing storyline between John Cena and AJ Styles. The "Cenation" leader has enlisted the help of Enzo and Cass, and they'll cross paths with The Club trio in less than two weeks in a six-man tag match at Battleground.
The midcard title divisions are also heating up. The Miz is set to defend his Intercontinental Championship against the winner of a Battle Royal, which will take place on "RAW." Zack Ryder, meanwhile, is building some momentum toward a potential clash with Rusev, who has also been busy with Titus O'Neil.
Over in the tag division, The New Day has its hands full with The Wyatt Family, while Sasha Banks is moving up the ranks in the women's division toward a title shot with Charlotte and is expected to battle Dana Brooke on "RAW." Becky Lynch and Natalya are also building toward a match at Battleground, while Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are also closing in on a battle.
