Aaron Hernandez Murder Investigation Update: Fiancee Shayanna Jenkins Facing Perjury Charges, Judge Orders Prosecutors To Provide More Details [VIDEO]

Bristol Superior Court Judge E. Susan Garsh has ordered prosecutors to detail in writing what the fiancee of former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez lied to them and a grand jury about in their ongoing perjury case against her, according to The Boston Globe.

Shayanna Jenkins, 24, appeared for a hearing on Wednesday during which the judge told prosecutors the indictment against her "does not, the court finds, put the defendant on notice as to the nature" of the charges against her.

The judge ordered prosecutors to file over the next four weeks a legal document, known as a bill of particulars, that details "the substance and effect of what Jenkins said they believe constitutes perjury."

Prosecutors allege that Jenkins not only lied to investigators but also hid evidence related to the case, all in an attempt cover for the 23-year-old Hernandez, who remains jailed without bail in the June killing of Odin Lloyd.

During her arraignment last month, prosecutors also told the court they had surveillance of Jenkins carting a box from the North Attleborough home she shared with Hernandez. She allegedly later told authorities she couldn't recall where she discarded it. Authorities add she lied about the timing of her request to have workers who cleaned the couple's mansion sign nondisclosure agreements beforehand.

Bristol prosecutor William McCauley argued against the defense request, claiming the government has provided Jenkins with evidence including grand jury minutes and that the details of her alleged lies are "clearly contained in her testimony
