For Russell Wilson and Ciara's marriage, the third time was the charm.
The couple tied the knot on July 6 at the Peckforton Castle in the United Kingdom, an event that was attended by over 100 guests.
Apparently, the couple called off their wedding plans twice before, not because of any issues with each other, but problems with the venues they were planning on attending.
"I did the whole thing -- three times," wedding planner Mindy Weiss told The Knot. "They were first getting married in North Carolina, but they called it off due to the transgender bathroom laws. They were gonna go to Paris and it ended up being [Couture] Fashion Week and it was really difficult."
Though the planning of the nuptials was a headache, Weiss said it all worked out in England.
"We ended up in London," she said. "They wanted it to be away. And we found a castle that was an hour out of Liverpool and they had about 110 guests."
It appears Weiss did a great job fulfilling the dreams of Ciara, 30, and Wilson, 27, as the "I Bet" singer recently gushed about how happy she was with her marriage and the location in which she exchanged vows with the quarterback.
"This is the happiest I have ever been," Ciara told People on Saturday. "Our wedding was like a fairy-tale. We loved the countryside. We looked at a venue in the U.S., but we also looked abroad, and England just seemed magical and perfect."
Though Weiss had some trials and tribulations when it came to finding the perfect spot, she expressed her happiness in working with Wilson and Ciara.
"I think my favorite part [of the wedding] was the ceremony because they were so happy," she said. "They really are a very cool couple. I really enjoy their relationship."
That happiness apparently extended into the bedroom. The couple was very open about the vow of celibacy they took prior to their wedding. They were also extremely open about consummating their marriage.
After the wedding was official, they made sure to go public about their sex life to assure their fans that the vow was over.
Though it took them a while to find the right location, it appears Ciara and Wilson are living in wedded bliss.
