Lamar Odom may have fallen on some hard times recently, but he's keeping busy in New York City.
The two-time NBA champion is now all the way across the country from his soon-to-be ex-wife Khloe Kardashian.
The reality star filed for divorce from her husband, who reportedly has returned to drug and alcohol use despite almost losing his life nearly a year ago.
Kardashian recently kicked Odom out of the California home she rented for him, but it seems he's found a home in his native NYC.
Odom recently hosted an event in the Big Apple, according to a post on Instagram. It seems he's doing fine and making some money without Kardashian.

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star was previously set to divorce her estranged husband years ago, but when he suffered a near-fatal overdose at a Nevada brothel last October, she opted to stay by his side.
Kardashian made medical decisions for Odom and supported him emotionally and financially on his road to recovery.
After Odom miraculously returned to a normal life, he began falling into his old habits, which reportedly led to the split.
Kardashian, 32, filed for divorce from Odom, 36, on May 26 amid rumors she found drug paraphernalia at the home she rented for him to recover in.
After filing for divorce, Kardashian decided to kick Odom out of the home due to his issues with drugs and alcohol. He was said to be staying with friends while he hunts down a new permanent dwelling, while his family's efforts to help him haven't worked out.
As for Kardashian,she's been making headlines in her own right by reportedly dating another NBA player -- Cavaliers star and NBA champion Tristan Thompson.
