‘Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Vs. Mid-Engine Corvette’: Check Specs, Features And Release Date

Chevrolet an automobile giant has once again been caught doing some road tests with Corvette ZR1. However, it was not alone to do a road test, in fact, mid-engine Corvette was also caught doing some tests together with its ZR1.

According to Motor 1, the two upcoming vehicles Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and mid-engine Corvette have been spotted together for the first time. Due to this, there are several comparisons occurred but both the models are camouflaged.

However, the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 has a higher stance compare to the mid-engine Corvette. Whereas the mid-engine Corvette has a long rear section despite its overall body being short.

ZR1 spy shots suggest that it has two separate wings, which is expected to help with its aerodynamics and also has a bulging hood and a more aggressive-looking front section. Whereas mid-engine Corvette spy shots show a sloping nose and a bulging hood suggests there might be an intake that makes it appear.

Accordingly, the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 engine will be configured with LT4 V8 that is capable of giving out 650 horsepower. On the other hand, the mid-engine Corvette engine will be powered by a 6.2-liter and configured with LT5 V8 but no numbers of horsepower have been revealed yet.

As per reported in Motor Trend, the upcoming Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is expected to be the most elevated execution form in the Corvette. Apparently, it will be then including with big names such as Porsche and Ferrari including its long-time rival Ford GT.
