'The Originals' Season 4 Updates: Klaus' Heroic Sacrifice Discussed, New Romance Blossoms

"The Originals" Season 4 will premiere on The CW next month. It is reported that next season would commence with its own time jump.

Even though the spinoff vampire series now stands alone as its mother series, "The Vampire Diaries" is not airing, there are still a lot to expect in next season. One of which is the new romantic relationship that will blossom between the characters.

The characters of Hayley, Klaus and Hope will also experience dynamic changes, making their roles more exciting and mysterious. According to Yahoo News, "The Originals" will be having a new romantic duo when season 2 hits TVs on March 17.

The creator of the series, Julie Plec, even admits that most of the main characters in this season will have their own share of romantic scenes. This makes season 4 a season about romance.

However, all of the season's new romances are headlined by this one couple's flaring passion. There is a huge possibility that this might be more about how Elijah and Hayley take their relationship to the next level.

According to Dread Central, Phoebe Tonkin, who plays the role of Hayley, says in one of her statements that the relationship of Klaus and Hayley resembles that of a modern family. This might mean that Klaus is indeed Hope's father, while Elijah is her uncle and the same time the boyfriend of her mother.

Meanwhile, Joseph Morgan says that his character of Klaus will be understood by her daughter, even if his sacrifices were very hard to take in. All of these reported storylines are indeed very vital to the continuity of the series into a possible season 5.

For now, it all depends on the success of "The Originals" Season 4. The next season would surely do its best to keep the series  going for years, because if not, then they better prepare the end of it.
