Jane Lynch who played the role of Diana Reid will return to CBS' "Criminal Minds" again. The storyline of the series will encircle around her son, BAU Agent Spencer. The makers of the show are planning to bring her character back.

The role of Diana Reid's son in "Criminal Minds" is played by Matthew Gary Gubler. As said by the show runner of the show, Erica Messer she wants to make the show, especially season 9 much more elaborate. Already they have earned the right to tell serialized stories. They are just doing the same to keep the audience hooked to their show.

Erica herself co-wrote Episode 13 with another cast member named Kirsten Vangness. Lynch first appeared in Episode 11 and also in Episode 13 where she got related to the Diana storyline. That episode was titled "Spencer". According TV Line, the producer said that the special episode of Spencer was a journey for the team altogether and the ride that they went through while making it was pretty intense.

As more time will pass the audience will come to know about a character who is akin to the serial killers named Mr Scratch and Tommy Yates have something to do with BAU's past. The "Criminal Minds" makers are really happy to announce that they are planning to bring back more such characters from the history of the series who have made a good impact on the show be it from a positive or negative side. And they are in fact having a great time in shuffling with the characters and storyline as said to Follow News.

The makers of "Criminal Minds" also mentioned that they can only keep on bringing actors from the past episodes only if the ratings of the show is high enough. They are also willing to provide opportunities to fans who want to be and know the characters in real.
