"Warcraft" have received a lot of attention and popularity on its use of incredible digital effects. "Warcraft" is just another video game which turned out to be a movie. This game movie flopped upon its release according to its domestic box office earnings.
According to Cinema Blend, the cinema is cleaned up internationally, especially in China where the box office broke records, but the point here is now is that actually going to happen? "Warcraft" may seem as it's not very much popular among the people but that doesn't mean they lack any fans. One twitter user recently tweeted that he saw fantasy flick four times in IMAX and he is eagerly waiting for the sequel.
Ducan Jones shared his excitement for the second trip to "Warcraft", but unfortunately it's not up to him. It's really hard to guess what is his attitude towards the sequel. It's pretty hard to make any comment whether or not a "Warcraft 2" is somewhere down the road. The film got many bad reviews but the studio is not only concerned about the reviews all the time.
According to Northern Valley News, they say that "Warcraft" has failed to impress the audience here in states but, it did very well in China. Though the film flopped in U.S, it earned around $156 million in China's box office. Globally the film earned approximately $430 million.
The audiences including the fans are eagerly and certainly waiting for the "Warcraft 2". As of now, the Legendary has not said anything about the squeal of "Warcraft", but the option seems to be on the table.
They are expecting to use all its promotional material overseas which can act as a great strategy in the foreign market. Thus the same strategy can be used for making the sequel of "Warcraft" too.
