Toyota Tundra TRD News: Car Enthusiasts Not Happy With Toyota Tundra TRD Updates [VIDEO]

It was pointed out first for over ten years that Toyota Tundra has not been developed nicely, in fact, car enthusiasts have raised their concern and also sent an open letter to the chief engineer of this model. Amidst many concerns raised by Toyota fans, the carmaker has finally decided to update the Tundra model with its Toyota Tundra TRD.

The Toyota Tundra TRD faces quite a tough competition in the market. There are other vehicles in a competition such as General Motors vehicles, the Ford F-150 Model and Nissan Navara are among the models of other brands. The open letter that was published in Driving indicated saying that other models are lighter, faster and more efficient compared to the Tundra.

Among the concerns, Toyota announced that the 2018 Toyota Tundra TRD Sport is underway for the customers. The updates were only the LED lighting and new safety equipment which adds to concern and regret. The chassis, six-speed transmission, and engines remained unchanged in the new edition. These things added to the driving capacity of the vehicle remaining low and its fuel efficiency remaining below par too.

According to reports by Auto News, Toyota's expansion of the Toyota Racing Development will create a truck line with a sporty sub-brand which also includes the sport version 2018 Toyota Tundra TRD. The TRD influence will make for a compelling demographic of the model. This TRD application was not the first time the brand applied it onto car trims. The mechanical updates were also revealed such as better handling and off-road features, the upcoming Tundra is expected to have better tackle and outback capabilities.

The 2018 Toyota Tundra TRD Sport is expected to be released very soon with updated safety and slight better mechanical features, the question is whether the model can go up against the likes of heavyweights in its division or not. The other concern is whether this model will be discontinued due to lack of developments or not.
