Openly Gay Boxer Yusaf Mack Tracked, Assaulted Homophobic Man Inside a Barbershop

Yusaf Mack tracked and assaulted a man who made vile homophobic comments about him on social media. The 37-year old retired professional boxer punched the man to the ground and kicked his face inside a Philadelphia barbershop.

The man was treated by paramedic right after the brutal attack. It is still unclear whether the man needed further treatment in hospital. He switched his social media accounts to private, but before doing so, he left a message against Yusaf Mack, stating "Me and him gonna fight again," News.com.au reported.

Yusaf Mack said that he isn't regretful about what he did to the man. So far, the victim did not press charges against the former professional boxer.

The boxer is a former IBF super middleweight champion and admitted to be a bisexual fighter in 2015 after a pornographic video was released showing him having sex with another man. He first lied about the story behind the gay porn video but was forced to admit his sexuality because of a lawsuit threat.

At first, Yusaf Mack claimed that he agreed to make a heterosexual video, but was forced to have sex with another man because he was "drugged" that time. He even said that he considers himself as a "whoremonger" and that he was never attracted to men. On a statement, he said, "My whole life, I've been what they call a whoremonger. I love females. The only time I touch a man is when I'm in the ring fighting."

He only admitted about his sexuality after the adult porn site DawgPoundUSA threatened to sue him for the claims of him being drugged. It said that Yusaf Mack is completely conscious and willing to do the scene, Pink News reported. After coming out as gay, Yusaf Mack apologized to his family, saying that he was "a coward and hid a huge part" of his life from them.
