The hits just keep coming for former USA Gymnastics and Michigan State University doctor Larry Nassar. Larry Nassar is already facing several criminal cases and several more cases are being added to that list.
Just last Wednesday, Larry Nassar, 53, has been charged with twenty two counts of first-degree criminal sexual assault, according to a report from ESPN. The new cases filed against Larry Nassar comes just after five months when a sexual assault investigation was launched at Michigan State University.
Five of the twenty two charges filed against Larry Nassar were related to victims who were under 13 years of age during the time of the alleged abuse. There were seven different alleged victims that were involved in the twenty two charges.
Larry Nassar is currently in prison without bond. Before being charged with the twenty two new sexual abuse charges, three other counts of sexual abuse have been filed against Larry Nassar last year and he is scheduled to stand trial.
Aside from the sexual abuse charges Larry Nassar is currently facing, he also faces charges of possession of child pornography and trying to destroy evidence. Several civil lawsuits were also filed against Larry Nassar from more than thirty complainants.
Court documents show how Larry Nassar allegedly bused the young girls. According to the court documents, Larry Nassar penetrated the young girls under the pretense that they were part of his treatment for their injuries. Larry Nassar would perform these despicable acts in his office or at his home.
Larry Nassar would ask parents to leave the room so he could be alone with the injured gymnasts. Other times, Larry Nassar would use a sheet or stand in certain position that would any view of what he was doing.
Before the twenty two new charges filed against Larry Nassar, three former elite U.S. gymnasts, including 2000 Olympian Jamie Dantzscher, have come forward to reveal how they were sexually abused by Larry Nassar, via a report from ESPN. Jamie Dantzsher detailed how Larry Nasser would put his fingers inside of her and move her legs around. The so called treatment would allegedly help Jamie Dantzscher with her back pain, according to Larry Nassar.
