PS4 Pro is already out in the market while Xbox One Scorpio is set to be released this year. Both game consoles are said to be the most powerful game console that Sony and Microsoft have already created today. But who will win the battle between the two highly touted device?
PS4 Pro, the new home video game console that was developed by Sony Computer Entertainment, is the latest version of the PlayStation 4. Currently, it is the high-end game console of the PlayStation family that was released on September 7, 2016. It is using the latest 4K video gameplay that it is supported by an upgraded GPU and higher CPU clock rate.
On the other hand, the Xbox One Scorpio is the incoming game console project of the Microsoft company. The device is still under development until now but it is said to be launched later this year. The device will also sport a 4K video gameplay just like the Sony's PS4 Pro but will be introducing a virtual reality support system.
And now, the two devices are being compared as to who is the better one. According to PC Advisor, though the PS4 Pro came out first, the Xbox One Scorpio can still catch up and might even exceed the success and popularity of the PlayStation 4 Pro.
The PS4 Pro carries a 4.2 teraflops graphical power but Xbox One Scorpio is said to be introducing six teraflops. Aside from that, Microsoft already makes sure that Scorpio will have a memory bandwidth of 320 GB/s as against the Pro's 218 GB/s. Though not yet established, there's no doubt that the Scorpio will have 8 GB of memory same with the Pro.
As said earlier, both device will be powered by a 4K support video, however, Microsoft state the Xbox One Scorpio can give the "true" 4K gameplay as it can play 4K Blu-rays which the PS4 Pro doesn't. Aside from this, recent reports also say that the Scorpio will have another feature that will surely surpass the Pro attributes.
According to Daily Star, Microsoft recently revealed that the Xbox One Scorpio will be using a new interface design language as Windows 10 called Project NEON. The innovative Xbox dashboard will surely outshine the PS4 Pro in terms of the design language.
