'Injustice 2' Release Update: Unlocking Items to Tweak Abilities, Appearances Expected

Aside from the addition of new characters for the much anticipated "Injustice 2" video game, NetherRealm Studios gives indication that among the added features on it will be the unlocking of items to be equipped on the character to tweak their abilities and appearance. The next details will be available for release on March 2, 2017.

"Injustice 2" will be launched for PS4 and Xbox One game consoles and soon for mobile devices running on Android and iOS. The new feature is tipped with the tagline "every battle defines you" which implies that as the character levels up, you will have the chance to unlock items to be equipped to that character which will tweak their abilities and appearance, as reported by Cinema Blend.

This is quite interesting for online players because there will be visual differences between two similar characters. So it means that your Superman will look different from another Superman you will be facing against - and possibly with a different skill because of the equipped item it possess. With new update in "Injustice 2," online battles will be more interesting than ever.

As for the confirmed characters, NetherRealm Studios latest confirmation on the roster is Cyborg. He was revealed on a spectacular story trailer, as mentioned by Game Spot. Others included in "Injustice 2" are Swamp Thing, Blue Beetle, The Flash, Batman, Harley Quinn, Superman, Supergirl, Deadshot, Wonder Woman, Gorilla Grodd, Aquaman, Robin, Cheetah, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Black Canary and Atrocitus.

The teasers for "Injustice 2" heightens the anticipation of players, as this will be a good chance to make the game count because of the increased competition with other new releases like "Horizon: Zero Dawn" and "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." As reported by Gamezone, pre-orders will give a chance to have Darkseid as an instant playable character for free.
