WWE Fastlane 2017: Final Match Card and Predictions For Final PPV Before WrestleMania 33

WWE Fastlane 2017 is the last pay-per-view before WrestleMania 33 so fans should expect a lot of things from the event. Bill Goldberg is set to challenge Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Championship while Braun Strowman looks to continue his dominance over Roman Reigns.

There are seven official matches on the WWE Fastlane 2017 main card and one Kickoff Match for the preshow, per WWE.com. Here is the updated final match card and predictions for the last WWE PPV before WrestleMania 33.

Kevin Owens vs. Bill Goldberg for the WWE Universal Championship

The obvious outcome of this match is Goldberg leaving WWE Fastlane 2017 as the new champion. However, the recent breakup of KO and Chris Jericho could factor into the match, as well as the rumored NXT stable Triple H is forming.

Brock Lesnar might also make an appearance and attack Goldberg with Jericho possibly doing the same thing to Owens. The biggest match at WrestleMania 33 is Goldberg vs. Lesnar and it makes sense for the WWE to make it even bigger by putting the Universal title on Goldberg.

Prediction: Goldberg wins the WWE Universal title in less than ten minutes after interference from Jericho.

Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman

Strowman is one of the few bright spots on Monday Night Raw. He has been booked wonderfully and he looks unstoppable heading into WWE Fastlane 2017. Reigns, on the other hand, is having a hard time against "The Monster Among Men".

According to Comicbook.com, The Undertaker is expected to appear on Sunday and help Strowman beat Reigns. The Undertaker promised Reigns at the Royal Rumble that he will get back at him for his elimination.

Prediction: Strowman beats Reigns via pinfall after a distraction from The Undertaker.

Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women's Championship

The WWE blew it by giving Bayley the women's title on Raw and not at WrestleMania 33. And since the company has been hyping Charlotte's undefeated streak on PPVs, fans are already expecting her to come out of WWE Fastlane 2017 as a five-time women's champion.

Prediction: Charlotte wins the women's title again because the WWE wants her to break Ric Flair's record of 16 world championships in just three years.

Sami Zayn vs. Samoa Joe

Joe has made a lot of impact ever since making his debut at the post-Royal Rumble Raw show and attacking Seth Rollins. WWE Fastlane 2017 is his first-ever PPV so it makes sense that he wins and beats the crap out of Zayn.

Prediction: Joe beats Zayn via submission. Finn Balor comes out for the save, hopefully.

Neville vs. Jack Gallagher for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Gallagher is one of the most entertaining characters in the cruiserweight division but Neville deserves a very long title reigns. The gentleman will put up a good fight against "The King of the Cruiserweights" but the champion retains his title.

Prediction: Neville retains the cruiserweight title via submission because the Superplex is not a good-looking finisher.

Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. Enzo Amore & Big Cass for the Raw Tag Team Championships

Gallows and Anderson are not having a great run as tag team champions since they were fed to Roman Reigns. The WWE is clearly gearing up for Enzo and Cass winning the titles but they are not going to win it at WWE Fastlane 2017.

Prediction: Gallows and Anderson retain the tag team titles but Enzo and Cass get their WrestleMania moment next month.

Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax

The WWE has been teasing a heel turn for Sasha and they could do it at WWE Fastlane 2017. However, it is best if they let "The Boss" get a win over Jax to build her up for WrestleMania 33. Sasha has lost a lot of momentum since losing to Charlotte late last year.

Prediction: Banks gets the win using the Banks Statement. She needs the victory to recover some of her momentum heading into WrestleMania 33.

WWE Fastlane 2017 is on Sunday, March 5 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It will start at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT only on the WWE Network.
