According to a report from Yonhap News Agency, Lee Min Ho, Song Hye Kyo and EXO are the three big winners of the Soompi Awards. Soompi is an online news provider of K-Pop music, films and TV Drama based in the United States.
The three were announced as the most popular Hallyu stars of 2016. Lee Min Ho, Song Hye Kyo and the boy band EXO were voted by fans worldwide in 139 countries. With their recent win, Korean drama supporters wants to see "City Hunter" star have a TV series with "Descendants of the Sun" lead actress.
Korean Portal mentioned that Lee Min Ho cancelled his wedding plans with Suzy Bae because of his engagement for the "City Hunter 2." While some other sources speculate that the "Boys Over Flowers" star will be doing his military service this year that he will be out of showbiz for 2 years - telling fans to await his return.
With the "City Hunter 2" rumors, followers believe that the best tandem would be Song Hye Kyo and Lee Min Ho.
