Talking Straight with the 2017 Kia Sportage EX AWD

Kia's fourth generation Sportage unit is here, and it is better than ever. The Seoul-based automaker has made the car's build far stronger than its predecessors. Fifty one percent of Advanced High Strength Steel (AHSS) has been added to this frame.

To start with, the 2017 Kia Sportage EX AWD SUV has a cabin to behold. The company has instituted a somewhat interactive design between the car's infotainment system and the driver. Accessories are set atop the dashboard with a position slightly leaning towards the steering wheel in order to allow the person running the unit more control of the components.

Clarity is central to the approach of the 2017 Sportage. Drivers will have no trouble viewing the cluster gauges since the amount of brightness has been optimized regardless of the time frame. It must also be noted that the Honda Cr-V's digital design and the Nissan Rouge's clear information screen have been integrated into the sports utility car. In order to ease visibility disturbance, the system has been tilted a bit.

The 2017 Kia Sportage EX AWD vehicle takes pride in advancing one of its precautionary elements. The Korean auto manufacturer has installed a tire pressure monitoring procedure. The indicator is able to pinpoint which among the four tires need additional air.

In terms of control, dials are made available on the central part of the cabin. Included on these knobs are the buttons to tune into the radio and manage the air conditioning temperature. What makes this approach distinct from other SUVs is the control availability to the front passenger although two switches are still in play on the steering wheel.

The center stack of the 2017 Kia Sportage EX AWD has been made for comfort. It should be noted that the keys on the lower part of the frame are a bit bigger in order to provide a natural approach to the passengers.

With regards to safety measures, the new Kia Sportage has a rollover sensor, an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and an Electronic Stability Control (ESC) procedure. Aside from a Brake Assist System and Hill Start Assist Control (HAC), an Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD) and a Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) are also in place.
