NFL News: Missing Tom Brady Super Bowl LI Jersey Investigation Case Still Active

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are ready to win Super Bowl LII next year with all of their moves this offseason. However, Brady has still not found his Super Bowl LI-worn jersey that was stolen right after the game.

According to the New York Daily News, the investigation on the stolen Tom Brady Super Bowl LI jersey is still active and on-going. The Houston Police Department is apparently still on the case since the jersey is reportedly worth $500,000.

The Houston PD is not the only law enforcement after the Tom Brady jersey thief. The Texas Rangers law enforcement, Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and the NRG Stadium Security are also still on the case. The investigation was launched two days after Super Bowl LI.

The Tom Brady jersey thieves are facing a first-degree felony charge if they ever get caught. However, the police still have no leads or possible suspects. Brady has them beat in that category after releasing his own lists of suspects.

Some of the suspects on the list of Tom Brady include teammate Julian Edelman, Lady Gaga, his creepy drawing from the Deflategate Scandal, Gollum, Pyat Pree, Prison Mike, The O'Doyle Family, the clown who stole "Air Bud," Gary Oak, Swiper the Fox, crab people and his own dog, Scooby, per CBS Sports.

The stolen Tom Brady jersey is still out there but the thief or thieves will have a hard time selling it on the black market. It is because the jersey is a stolen item and the owner of it is one of the most popular athletes in the world.

Nevertheless, Tom Brady and the Patriots are already looking forward to next season. They have made a lot of moves this offseason that could give them the perfect season and their sixth Super Bowl title. The Patriots added wide receiver Brandin Cooks, tight end Dwayne Allen, defensive end Kony Ealy and cornerback Stephon Gilmore.
