The documents which was originated with the CIA had details of variety of compromising Apple devices if an agent was able to gain physical access to the device.

Apparently, those leaks were the part of Vault7 documents which has been tried upon by the WikiLeaks. Some of the exploits they found out was NightSkies, where phones could be accessed and personal info with call logs and SMS can be tracked down, but this can only happen with physical access.

Apple issued a statement saying they have accessed WikiLeaks disclosures with full attention. Based on their initial outcome of analysis, iPhone 3G which was vulnerable was fixed back in 2009, it was the time when iPhone 3Gs was released. The Mac versions were also caught vulnerable but the company has assured the exploits have been fixed in all the Macs which were launched after 2013.

Apple though, yet haven't negotiated with the WikiLeaks about these issues. They have given the agency instructions to submit any information they could submit through natural process under standard terms. Apple assures its users by saying they are tireless in their defence for their users' devices of different versions.

We all know once the physical access is done,  all bets regarding will not be saved. Remote intrusion is a real threat to security of any agency in this world. If the device is in hand, it is just the matter of plugging it away correctly.
