Floyd Mayweather Vs. Conor McGregor Fight In Jeopardy, Bob Arum Blames UFC

UFC and boxing fan have always been dreaming about mega fights between two super fighters.  Promoters always try to make these mega fights possible because of the tons of money they could earn.  One of the fights fans of the UFC and boxing have been clamoring is the mega-fight between undefeated boxing champion Floyd "Money" Mayweather and UFC lightweight champion Conor "The Notorious" McGregor.  Of course, when it comes to this type of mega fight, money is always an issue.  Money, as in previous proposed mega fights, is the main hindrance on a potential mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor.

As reported by Yahoo Sports, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum blames the UFC as the main roadblock for a possible mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor.  According to Bob Arum, the UFC is greedy and is asking too much money for the mega-fight to happen.

Bob Arum said that the UFC treats their fighters differently than boxing promoters do on their fighters.  UFC fighters earn less as compared to boxers.

"I think the only impediment there is the UFC, because UFC doesn't treat fighters the same way that boxing promoters do," Bob Arum said recently.

Bob Arum also added that the UFC proposed a deal that would have the UFC get 50% of Conor McGregor's share on the total purse.  That ultimately may be the deal breaker on the proposed mega fight, according to Bob Arum.

No one's really surprised that the UFC is greedy.  After all, the UFC has it's most bankable and popular fighter in Conor McGregor.  The UFC has every right to ask for what they think they truly deserve because Conor McGregor has been making them tons of money for the past several years.

The Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor fight has been in negotiations for the past several weeks.  Both Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor have been exchanging barbs towards.  Conor McGregor even said that he will knockout Floyd Mayweather, according to a report from Yahoo Sports.
