Now that "Destiny 2" has been officially revealed rumors will start to spread on the internet. One of those rumors suggests that Destiny 2 will be having a PC version alongside the usual console counterparts. Although nothing official has yet to be announced regarding a PC version, several incidents seem to indicate the possibility.

According to vg247, a German streamer was able to pre-order "Destiny 2" on PC in a GameStop outlet. In his Twitter post, the gamer posted a receipt from the store that shows his order for the sequel. The post also indicates that a special edition for the sequel is also available.

However, there's always a possibility that the receipt for "Destiny 2" is fake since it's easy to replicate the same thing. But it's highly unlikely that fake receipt comes from a well-known video game store like GameStop.

Meanwhile, another German source is also indicating the existence of a "Destiny 2" PC version. In this case, a German retailer, Instant Games is now accepting pre-orders for the PC version of the sequel. Then again, there have times where pre-orders can be linked to anything even if they aren't real. But some European retailers have been known to reveal things that the US and UK have chosen no to divulge. So there's always a possibility that the rumor is true.

A PC version of "Destiny 2" holds a lot of advantages for gamers as well as Bungie. By releasing the sequel on the PC alongside the console, the developer will be able to reach a wider audience and potentially increase sales for the game. Destiny is reported to have $500 million in budget for the development of the series. A release for the PC will help the developers earn back their initial investment. For gamers "Destiny 2" on PC means better performance and graphics. The mouse and keyboard setup will also provide them better control over their character. Furthermore, online multiplayer will be free unlike its console counterpart
