People went crazy as soon as it was rumored that Apple is all set to launch its iPad 2, which was to be an upgraded 9.7-inch model. It was referred as iPad Pro 2. Everyone has been patiently waiting for the launch, whose date hasn't been finalized as yet.

Several rumors about this much awaited iPad Pro 2 have filled the air and have constantly kept lovers of the brand in anguish. In a chronological order, theses rumors are enlisted below:

March 21, 2017: On this day, Apple unveiled a new iPad. However, the iPad Pro 2 was nowhere to be seen? The company launched a new iPad, but it wasn't the Pro 2 as it was expected by people who were awaiting its release.

Apple was apparently planning to launch refreshed iPad models without hosting a major launch event. However, there were no talks of the highly awaited iPad Pro 2. USB-C Type might also be sported in the gadget. According to Tabcult, 3 GB of RAM might possibly be featured.

When it comes to Apple iPad 2 specs and features, reports suggest the device will be equipped with cutting-edge specs and features. There's a report from Japanese site Macotakara that claims that a 10.9-inch Apple iPad Pro 2 will be launched. Reports also claims that 4K display could also be marked in Apple iPad Pro 2.

The Apple iPad Pro 2 lineup is expected to feature Apple's A10X processor, reports Mac World.  An 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front shooter, sixth-generation Intel Core processors up to i7, up to 1 TB of storage is expected in the Apple iPad Pro 2.

The iPad Pro 2 could get an edge over its rival thanks to the iOS 10.3. Price of the device is still not confirmed.
