‘Prison Break’ Might Not Get Revived For Another Season

"Prison Break" is currently airing its Season 5 on Fox, starting from April 4 this year. However, as a serious setback for fans, the show-runners of the popular drama have expected that the ongoing season might be the conclusive one and the series is unlikely to be renewed for season 6. The news has left the audience disappointed and heart-broken.

"Prison Break" Season 5 is reaching towards its conclusion, fans awaited for the word from the creators about the next season. But, anything regarding the announcement was not heard. On May 30, 2017, the final episode of the Season 5 will be aired. But, as per the Heavy reports suggest, the season 6 of Paul Scheuring's "Prison Break" is not coming after the conclusion of Season 5.

According to the reports of Metro, the show creator, Paul Scheuring, is not left with any material which he can incorporate in the next season. Moreover, Paul has commented over the matter by saying that the fans will not feel any need of another season after watching the conclusion of "Prison Break" Season 5.

The first episode of the first season of "Prison Break" was aired on August 29, 2005. Paul T. Scheuring, Neal Moritz, Marty Adelstein and Dawn Olmstead comprise of original producers of the series. Besides Paul, all other returned as the executive producers for the "Prison Break" Season 5. Paul T. Scheuring reportedly turned writer for this season.

The star cast of the series too want that a "Prison Break" Season 6 should happen. Sara Tancredi, played by Sarah Wayne Callies, Lincoln Burrows portrayed by Dominic Purcell, T-Bag played by Robert Knepper and Fernando Sucre played by Amaury Nolasco are the popular characters of the series.
