Chipper Jones Boycott: Ex-Atlanta Brave's Tweet Shows He Is Still Angry With Team for Refusing To Catch His Ceremonial Pitch (VIDEO)

First, the Atlanta Braves couldn't forgive Chipper Jones. Now, Jones can't seem to forgive the Atlanta Braves.

Jones, the longtime former Braves third baseman has been in a feud with the Braves ever since they refused to catch a ceremonial pitch from him in Game 1 of the National League Divisional Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers after he went on the team's flagship radio station in Atlanta and predicted that the Los Angeles Dodgers would beat the Braves in four.

That took place in early October.

On Sunday, Jones took to Twitter to show that his ire toward his former team is alive and well. He went after former Brave Tim Hudson, who signed with the San Francisco Giants in November. Hudson caught the Game 2 ceremonial first pitch from former Braves manager Bobby Cox.

"What if Huddy takes the mound for the first time in SF next yr, and no one is there to catch the 'first pitch'? Maybe the mascot? #karma," Jones tweeted that Bloguin.com posted.

Less than an hour later, Jones tried to smooth the situation, perhaps.

"All butthurt shenanigans aside, I wish Kim all the best in San Fran!"

Bloguin.com reported that Kim is the name of Hudson's wife. The website insisted that Jones meant Tim, not his wife, but did not verify how it knew that to be the case.

After Jones threw out the ceremonial pitch in Game 1 of the NLDS, he also sent a pair of tweets on what appeared to be a backhanded compliment to the Braves.

"Wanna thank the Braves organization for having me throw out the first pitch to the mascot tonite. Quite sure that's never been done before!"

"Nor will it EVER happen again!"

Clearly, the Braves have a public relations situation with Jones to remedy.
